  1. yes, half the blame is on the americans....

  2. real estate prices jumping because Mexico is the number one country for kidnapping. You want to pass blame, start with the drug cartel, start with corruption of morals and a disregard for what is right or wrong. Mexico is driven by greed and those who cannot contain that eagerness's for power and glory.

  3. That's Capitalism.

It surprises me to no end how Conservatives will constantly tell us about how great Capitalism is and how we must go back to it and such.

Workers coming over and doing the job right for less is precisely what Capitalism is.  The Corporations start their wages low and keep going up until they can find a worker willing to do the job.  That is then considered the fair wage for that job.

This is Capitalism, people.  Take it or leave it.

  4. Yeah, because we didn't stop it sooner.

  5. Criminal elements in the United States have lured illegal alien over to work in factories and on farms.  They lured them over, and then turned around and paid them poorly, ignored OSHA law, and abused them.

But Criminal elements do that as a matter of course and we shouldn't be suprised.

But until Mr. Bush told the world he would not stop illegal aliens headed north to find a job, nothing this country has done encouraged the illegal aliens to come to the United States.  But when Mr. Clinton took office, the Democratic Party was desperate for new members, and it occurred to them that the illegal aliens would make fine new members.  They then refused to fund the Border Patrol and the invasion began.  When the Republicans under Bush took control, they ALSO refused to fund the Border Patrol, and that service was in very bad shape.  They could not do the job they had been tasked to do under any circumstance at all.  Was that encouragement?  Yes.. done by our two Presidents, and the head of the Democratic Party.  I believe Dean was a major player in that affair and I will hoot when he is gone!!

I want to point out that if you read the polls that had been published between 1970 and 1998, you discover the polls universally.. 89% or higher.. demanded the illegal aliens be deported, and the rate of immigration be turned down.  The government may have encouraged the illegal aliens to invade... the American People did not.

La Raza and others, have begun to vote in all the polls they can.  Even so.. the rate of rejection for the American Public is very high: deport the illegal aliens and turn the immigration rate way down.  Congress has us though, and refuses to obey.  It breeds a very sharp criticism of Congress, and leads to a very serious set of question about representation.  Those questions lead me to ask for a national ballot initiative that is binding, or a referendum that is binding, and done once a year.  As it stand, the lobby groups shape this country but with that binding national ballot initiative or national referendum, we could stop the lobby groups cold.

I would like to point out that if the Mexican Government shucked its corruption, and allowed the United States to work with its people we could have Mexico in a very good place in ten years.  In fact, in a better place in many ways, than the United States.  The parties won't let that happen.  If you saw the presentation of the candidates last night, you know they intend to follow their visions of America rather than what Americans want. We need that initiative very, very badly and very soon.

  6. Da big corporation made a loltta money of of em......now ya reap what ya sow.......

  7. It isn't so much Americans fault as it is the Governments, law enforcement and the judicial system. The laws are there but law officials choose not to use them. The ones who do choose the Judical system lets them off easy. It is was up to the people to enforce the laws there wouldn't be an illegals here.

  8. Which country in America ?

  9. It is a liberal or socialistic view to blame the United States.  I believe in personal responsibility - meaning those who come here against our laws are fully responsible and should be punished accordingly.

  10. If I leave my keys in the car, is it my fault the thief steals it. I should be able to leave my key sin the car without someone taking it.  Americans are not to blame for someone pissing out our immigration laws.

It's a premeditated illegal act and hte perpetrator needs to take responsibly for their actions.

  11. I would have to say no, people who come here illegally do so for their own reasons, good or bad, I agree it's still not legal.  And I have seen how many rules, penalties, etc. there are against people trying to change their "status" from illegal to legal... how hard it is to find a descent job (because, of course, they are here illegally) and how hard it is to get by without a license or any kind of i.d.

So, no, the US has made it as hard, if not impossible, as it can for them so it's the people's own choices which are to blame for the "illegality"

  12. The people who hire them and the people who buy their drugs are partly to blame.
