Do you belive that friends are a REFLECTION of you?

Everybody keeps telling me that your friends are a reflection of you, but my friends are extremely different from me. They're Mean (evil), loud, they fight other girls alot, they laugh at people who are different then them, there rude to people such as waitresses etc. they dress glamorous and always have theyre hair and nails done. im quiet, shy, i wear frumpy clothes and im extremely nice to people. Im heavy set and there thin and tall but They really love hanging around me and i love hanging around them but why are we so different?

Yeah absolutely because we subconsciously pick those who're our opposites in order to live vicariously through them.

Though there're some who pick friends that're closer to them in personality because then they'll be more compatible with one another.

I think it's great that you & your friends can accept each other's differences, after all that's what friendships are anyway.

They are a 'reflection', but not a 'mirror' reflection. They reflect back to you what you like in a friend, not a mirror image of you, which would be boring. Kind of like complimentary colors....

Not necessarily, i have friends that are way different than me. Im the one quiet one in the group, but I have friends that are very outgoing, smart, various personalities that are different than me so its not necessarily true

If you like your friends and they make you happy, that's all that matters. Everyone is different and that's what makes you special.  If you doubt that subject, talk it out with your friends.
