  1. try ... we all are destroying the house god gave us to live in: Earth.

  2. i think of it as weird

  3. Not all of us build our own houses.

  4. So true! Our free will creates our own destiny.

  5. Yes we construct our own society and future

  6. I live in an apartment.

  7. Actually I'm currently studying IT. Epik Phail

  8. Yes, I think it's true. To a certain extent we all make choices that decide where we end up with our lives. It's talking about our inner selves so if we choose (build) to be happy and make good decisions we are going to live in a happy house. And it works the other way too.

There are a lot of things that we have no control over. But we always have a choice about our attitude.

  9. If you think of the world as the house, then yeah. We all gotta learn to live and love together.

  10. Yes, I think it's true.  The type of life you make for yourself is basically what it means by living in the house you build.

  11. i guess it is true. i mean, your house is the way it is because of your hard work and dedication. but this quote can not only hefer to a home, but also to our world. the world is our home, so it is up to us to make the best of it. every living human is part of it, and we can each make a huge difference to the world. so i guess we do somehow build the house in which we live in.

  12. Its true we all are connected, and if I look at how we messed up nature,I think we are in trouble. Its like a pool of water if you throw a pebble in the ripples move through the pool,so all the parts of the pool are effected.

  13. Yes, we build our own house, or make our own bed, as another saying goes. It means, rightfully, that we have created the situations that we find ourselves in and can't really blame anyone else for them. It's the old timer's way of saying, "try a little personal accountability."

  14. is it similar to you made your bed, now sleep in it. however you must be referrinf to society in ur saying whereas mine is individual... i dont believe in it, however I understand its merits.

  15. I interpret this to mean that we are in control of our lives. I believe it for the most part, but there are definitely things out of our control, such as other people's behavior that can affect us.

  16. It's pointless.

  17. I believe it.  It's just another way of saying that "we reap what we sow," "we lie in the beds that we made," and "what goes around, comes around."

Granted that sometimes (but only SOMEtimes - as in, VERY FEW times) circumstances place us in positions where we may possibly have a legitimate gripe, most people today are so quick to don the "victim" label, because it is so much easier to complain about your situation than DO something about it.

But if people would just realize that they (and they alone; not - and ESPECIALLY not - the government) are responsible for their own lives, this country - this WORLD - would be a much better place.

  18. To a certain extent yes, however nothing can be generalized.

  19. there are house u built urself but ur not living in it

  20. Yes, we can all built or buy 1, 2, 3, houses but we can have only one home.

  21. Not entirely, "we" all didn't work on my house. "We" create our individual worlds and the rest of us just pass through.

  22. i agree with that.....We're responsible for our actions and have no right demand handouts from anyone[including the government]
