Do you blame your parents for anything?

It's quite a cliche to blame your parents for something. Obviously without your parents you'd never even exist.

It's just that parents seem to become a scapegoat for a lot of psycologhical problems. Not necessarily saying they're all false, I'm just wondering what kind of problems you blame them for.

  1. I blame one of them for not working hard enough, then again, it was also HIS parents fault for not pushing him hard enough.


  2. I love my dad...But I blame my bad nerves on him...He was very verbally abusive, and even though i've moved on, and i've forgiven him, i still deal with the impacts of verbal abuse...Cruel words, will stay with a child for the rest of their life unfortunately.

  3. yh i could sit here all day blaming my mum and step dad 4 things but whats the point and its the past all i have done is moved on and learnt from it cause there is no way i would treat my kids like it

  5. i used to blaim my parents all the time for even the most stupidist things. like, me getting introuble at school, breaking something, all kinds of stuff.

    i leaned the hard was where my family relationship was falling apart and its actually at this stage now and i regreat all the fights and the stuff i used to blam them. Im in a tough situation now trying to fix our relationship.

    soo dont blame your parents for anythingg unless its actually true and a big deal

  6. my dad beat my mum for most my life till the age of ten when my mother left him , due to him hitting me when i was younger i have frequent memory loss and find it hard to concentrate i blame him

  7. When i was growing up i blamed them for being so hard on me, but now that i'm older i understand and i cant help but thank them for it.

  8. well honestly there is always something someone blames there parents for. Big or small. but ive learned that the only way to deal with it is to treat your kids better :)
