  1. you're allowed to take one bag actually on the plane with you. don't pack liquids or anything that may be taken away from you in it. then, you're allowed to bring another bag that is stored underneath. they will go through it, but you could pack shampoos and stuff in it.

  2. you can have it all in your carry on if it will fit within the restricted size (check your airlines website for the size allowed).  However any liquids and gels must be in bottles less than 3 oz in size and all must fit inside ONE 1 litre clear bag (like a ziplock).

  3. Usually every airlines allow to bring two separate bags.

One is carry-on (put in cabin) and another one is put in the plane baggage.

But better check the airlines website for the size allowed

  4. I think you can only have a carry on and a purse.

  5. Depend on airline

You need to be aware of these rules, or else the next time you hoose a size or two smaller than the maximum allowable domestic sizes.

If your flight is on a really small plane, you might find that your luggage allowances for both checked and carry-on items are substantially reduced. For example, some light aircraft operators limit passengers to 20lbs of luggage (both carry on and checked).
