  1. YES! Even dentures and implants can form plaque and tartar/calculus buildup. It is very important to remove these things so the fake teeth don't get all dirty and stained looking and so bacteria doesn't irritate the gums and cause bad breath.  


  2. Yes, because your still getting plaque and food all over them. If they aren't cleaned you could get diseases or infections in your mouth.

Absolutely, if it is dentures you should take it out every night and use a denture cleaner, or a wash cloth at least, to wipe the teeth clean.  You should use a wet cloth to wipe the gums and palate of the mouth too.  Consequences of not cleaning dentures will likely result in a fungus infection.  If you have crowns or implants and you do not brush you could lose those teeth to root cavities or periodontal disease (bone disease), have gingivitis (bleeding gums), bad breath, etc.  Ultimately you can lose fake teeth if you take care of them by brushing and flossing.
