Do you buy a daily newspaper? If so whichone and why?

I read The Sun when i am hungover and cant be bothered to concentrate and The Independent when im not hungover (which is more often than not).

I sometimes buy the Scottish Daily Mail - because I like the Sudokos. But I hate the paper. If I ever find myself agreeing with a story, it's time to give myself a shake and do without sudoko on the way home.

In the morning it's Metro (which is free) and the Scottish letters page is really amusing.

English Daily Mail is really shocking.

The Sun, and sometime The Telegraph, depends. I like the sun for columnists Kelvin Mckenzie, funny, rude, and often right, and Jon Gaunt for the same reason. They both make me laugh. Telegraph because there is more in depth reportage.

I don't buy a daily newspaper but the newspaper I tend to read most are The Independent/The Independent on Sunday but otherwise if I am round someone else's house they tend to have The Sun so i'll often read that but still prefer The Independent.

I buy the Sun and Daily Mail every day. Occasionally buy the Daily Express. But, working for a hotel, i have a flick through most of the papers first thing in the morning.

Mrs GC - I love how the snobbiness comes out on here, when you say you read or buy a tabloid. Lol, and like you, i read what i like, regardless of anyone.

I just buy the local Paper, it reports on nice, benign things like escaped pigs and village marrow competions etc, a happy read!
