Do you buy football strips of other teams?

do you buy them for any other club, if so, why?

i dont, just my own team. but i know lads who buy real, man utd, barca, liverpool etc.

if you do buy other tops, why?

ah got the arsenal 3rd shirt at xmas as i liked the shirt also bought the Chelsea home as well....ah don't support either team  just liked the style's

I did when a wis wee, but no any more. A wis just right in tae ma fitba and liked havin tops by different teams.

Had tops oaf, Dundee Utd, Wales, Poland, Man Utd, West Ham, West Germany, in the 80's, always wanted a USSR top fae the early 80's but could never find one.

These days, what the bloody price o the things, I'll only buy the odd Celtic one here and there.

i only buy the kids the rangers ones..when i did wear them myself as well as the Ger's i had some man city ones...got a soft spot for man city..plus everyone else seemed to be supporting united and i always liked to be different...as well as rangers my 2 have scotland ones as well..that's about it

Iv had Dundee United, Hibernian, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Ajax and Barca all when I was a kid because when I was around 6-12 we'd go to Blackpool every year and the Kits were cheap in the shops down there

I don't wear any football tops as you don't see footballers wearing other people's clothes that they wear to work.

I support celtic and arsenal and also follow my local team, queen of the south.  I have these shirts but i also a few from other leagues, just because i like the design - Barcelona, Werder Bremen and Ac Milan, i dont support these teams, just like to see them win and like the design of their top.

Get Celtic & Scotland 1's

Also try to buy tops from places I've served with the Army, or if family go on holiday.

Don't get the obvious 1's (Barca Real Madrid etc) as prefer 1's not every 1 else has.

Normally use them when fitba training.

i only buy the Thistle and Scotland tops.

I always lool out for the results of Arsenal, and iv been to a fair few of thier games, but iv never bought thier tops.

Get home (and usually away) Rovers tops every year along with most Scotland ones.

   Barring that, only Portugal (my fav international team after us)

  When I was younger (like 10-15) had a load of English and European ones (cheap from Kinross market) including Shef Wed, Man City, Porto, Sporting Gijon, Olympiakos to name a few, usually only cause I liked the look of them

i dont buy anything football related usually , but i did date a guy before who was  a supporter of Greenock Morton , a bit cuckoo about them with it ,as you guessed, he was a bit of a tosser, LOL well I got him a top and a mug from their website for a birthday present. It was a nice shade of blue .

Strips i've had include,A.C.Milan,Motherwell,Aston Villa,Man.City,all when I was a teenager. As an adult i've only had one football top,the Rangers  orange away top,My wife bought it for me when it was reduced to a tenner.

Three of them I bought on the cheap.

The Motherwel one I bought because it was my favourite strip.

i always buy my own teams and countries shirt, although i like buying other teams and nations shirts, as long as they are not rivals really, the more exotic or uncommon the shirt the better at times, like a mexican club team or something! i enjoy watching barcelona too so i get their shirts, and sometimes ill get a shirt just for the player who wears it

Funny you should ask this question Erra, I recently bought every SPL jersey for a charity auction night I organised, the captains of each club signed them, which made them a lot more valuable to the charities involved. What was great and should be made public, that both Celtic and Rangers sent autographed balls along with the signed tops.

The night was a great success with the princely sum of £13,500+ coming from the auctioning of the tops alone.

Not for me no,have to buy the daughter rangers and arsenal though as hubby is a gooner and they always like to have the new tops every season for when we go to the emirates and I just end up wearing his old top.For me personally it's only rangers and scotland new tops.

Dont buy strips anymore but when I did I always bought Liverpool and Barca and sometimes Juventus along with the Hoops.

I've bought a lot of Ajax (my European team) tops over the years. I've got a Shaktar top as well, I only bought that because it looks like United though, Orange and black Adidas, smart as f*k.

Outside of the Hoops the only other top I have purchased (club wise) was an AC Milan away top with a collar, which was rather dashing even though I say so myself.

Charlie Senior bought my brother and I Brazil home strips in 1974. Other than that Scotland.

For Mini Charlie, it has been Barca strips and Scotland. Ex- Ms Charlie doesn't want him wearing the hoops (boy is she in for a surprise on his birthday).
