  1. online shops in oregon, no sales tax

  2. Both online and the ROn Jon SUrf shop

  3. nocheck on line for prices but always buy from a real person

  4. If you know what you are looking for, online is totally fine, if you don't though go to a place that can answer you questions and give you options.  If you're in a surf town though it might be best to make friends with a surfshop and that way you can have people who work there give you tips on what is good and what is new on the market.

  5. Maybe you could buy one very good goods via online store.

  6. I'm old fashioned and I buy all my gear at my local shop. Sure, the internet probably lists cheap prices but at your surf shop there's things that can not be replaced by the internet. The aloha spirit in surf shops can't be beat. If you go often enough and get to know everyone, it's a group of people unlike any other. You can definitely get deals from shops too. If they know that you're not just some tourist going through town, they most likely will hook it up. I've been getting my boards for half off from the shops for years now.

Plus you always have the guarentee of getting exactly what you see. If you order online and after 2 weeks, it comes dinged up, you'll have to ship it back and be in the hole for shipping costs.
