  1. I more than care, I'm terrified of what's to come. Honestly, I really hope that the scientists in the world are wrong in the world, and it's all a hoax, but it's real. I mean, check this out

    www.ngcsixdegrees.com

that's what we have in our future

  2. I don't because it doesn't exist

  3. No I don't, because it doesn't exist.

  4. luvs

Looks like you have you eyes open. Can’t say that about to many people in society today. Most of us walk around with blinders until a catastrophe hits, then we wake up pretty quick. Unfortunately we go blind again a few months later…

Let me start off by saying we (my family and I) live 100% off of the grid and are completely self-sufficient with a 0% Carbon footprint. I believe this is the first step anyone can make “help the environment”. Once you convert your own life style to a greener more eco friendly route, you can start helping others.

my home has all the comforts listed above plus some. we live very comfortable without effecting the environment. just saying that tolet you know it's possible. you may not want to go as extreme as me and my family but anywhere in between is something.

Without getting to in depth here, Using alternative fuels in your vehicles and harnessing your own electricity from the sun, water, earth and wind are the 2 are key elements in making a green transition and erasing your carbon footprint.

I've been installing home made Solar panels. Solar stoves, Solar batch and inline hot water heaters. Solar radiant heating. Solar home heating and AC, along with home made wind gens and other alternative energy items for the last 3 years.

You can even make the above projects on site with simple parts from the local hardware stores or auto stores or junk yards. For more info check out some guides I wrote / compiled on how to DIY www agua-luna com

Again these projects can be accomplished anywhere by anyone.

if you absolutely can't do anything in your home at least you can put alternative fuels in your car. most major automotive manufacturers (Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors, etc) recommend the use of bio fuels, and nearly every car manufacturer in the world approves ethanol blends in their warranty coverage.

In fact your probably even driving an ethanol car and didn't even know it.

    The trick is finding fuel.

I've been producing biofuel for about 3 years now, it's not extremely difficult. Basically you need general household ingredients, a processor (or still for ethanol) and some used oil. Blend it, let separate, screen and use. I complied a guide a while back to help walk you threw the process step by step, just email me or check out..

as for recyling the best way i've found without taking money from your won pocket is to join a free freecycle group in your area or visit the habitat for humanity.

on the subject. I also offer online and on-site workshops, seminars and internships to help others “help the environment”.

Hope this helped, feel free to contact me personally if you have any questions if you’d like assistance in making your first self sufficient steps, I’m willing to walk you step by step threw the process. 5. They say its CO2 causing the problem and without taking a side on that I ask why not just remove the offending CO2? Why say CO2 cannot be removed when it is quite clear it can be done and at very little cost. Why point a finger here or there when all that needs to be done to fix this is to remove the CO2 mankind has dumped. Every time I suggest this a lot of dumb answers get posted so I stopped asking but it still is a very good idea.

  6. I take it VERY seriously!

I think the people taht think global warming is a scam/hoax just aren't ready to believ taht we may all die and all of this is going to happen....

  7. I really don't care as much as I should. It  hasn't really sunk it that the world really is coming to an end because of us. But I am making little changes everyday, and I think that if people do that too we could make huge changes with just the smallest things like use recycled paper and other items, fill the dishwater completely before starting it, etc. I learned alot of information about it on this website:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Take-Action-to-Re...

    Hope it helps!

  8. Not really, I have bigger fish to fry.

  9. Yeah because if this realy is meltin the ice caps the world will flood because of that. also w/ climate change there will be stronger storms worse than kartina.  the seasons would change to some degree that there could be winter in november-december and summer january-october

  10. No,I dont really care not even a little bit!

  11. yes. I would like to live comfortably, not too cold, not too hot.

  12. Not really. I don't see why people say you will die from it. That will not happen.

  13. Isn't it sad when Polar Bears are drowning because they can not find any ice to rest on after swimming 50 or 60 miles?

Where I live this winter we have had 4 times the normal snow fall, killer tornados in January (never has happened before)and then a 60 degree drop in temperature in 24 hours.  The climate is completely screwed up.  Monster hurricanes, huge wildfires.  Everything is becomming very extreme.  Our children are the ones who will be left with this legacy.

We need to elect officials who will make climate change a priority before we run out of time.  It is the crisis of our time and we have an obligation to the whole world to lead the way, not bury our head in the sand and blame other nations.

  14. I care about people like you that have been lied to, You have been sold a prediction that your future worries will be dominated by a warmer climate. But in reality it is more likely that you could see people fighting over loaves of bread in the street, because of complications associated with a shrinking  growing season  because of a rapidly cooling climate.

  15. man-made global warming is a scam. it was created by the government so they can just come up with another thing to tax people with -carbon immisions.

honestly, try finding ONE university profeseor and climatologist who believs in it. you wont find one.and they will tell you that peoples actions on the the earth only affects the planet by about .3 per cent

  16. If that was our only problem we can make it, but it is not. I attended the Focus the Nation at Sierra College on 1-31-08. The event was the 2% Solution, a 2% reduction over 40 years to solve GW. Oil is a nonrenewable resource and we are running out-but not soon - $30 Gal for gas. The 2% Solution is ok for the USA for a 10 year plan to cut 20%. But over those 10 years, we have to be building renewable energy and about that time, we can cut an additional 20%. This should get us from importing any oil. We must have a pollution surcharge where we pay the real price (health effects, GW and cleanup) for oil, NG, coal, cigarettes, Cooling Towers, Cars, trains and airplanes. Humans have to put some of this nonrenewable into renewable energy like small hydro-electric dams, concentrating solar power plants, wind and wave machines, nuks, and geothermal. With the peak of oil in the 1970’s, peak NG in the 1990’s, having mined cheep coal, the peak of ocean fishing in the 1980’s, and the peak of uranium in the 1990’s, humans must stop procrastinating and make real changes to keep earth sustainable including in the energy debate, finance and regulation.

Many of mankind’s advancements cause earth surface to warm, destroy the ozone layer, kill off endanger species, heat cities, and in some way cause more dramatic destruction.  Blacktop and buildings (roads, roofs and parking lots-heat cities), deforestation (air pollution, soil erosion), duststorms (increase hurricanes and cyclones, cause lung diseases), fires (cause pollution, mud slides, and deforestation), refrigerants (like CFC's) and solvents (including benzene destroy the ozone layer raising skin cancer rates) and plastics; cars, airplanes, ships and most electricity production (causes pollution including raised CO2 levels and increased lung and other diseases); these human problems we must fix to keep life on earth sustainable! Humans have destroyed half of the wetlands, cut down nearly half of the rain forest, and advance on the earths grasslands while advancing desertification which increases duststorms.

The result is:  change is on the way, we just do not know what changes (where and when). Look beyond the hype, beyond the weather, beyond a quarterly report and beyond today. President Bush has made a choice of energy (ethanol) over food and feeding the starving people around the world; this is a choice China has rejected. The fact is Bush wants to buy your food to send to starving people since our grain is not available. Now what USA Presidential candidate is give you the facts so you can make an educated decision?

Over the next 90 years carbon dioxide is projected to skyrocket as human’s burn more fossil fuels. The problem is, the oil will be gone in less than 30 years at present rates of consumption without projected increases and shortages. We have to come up with what will take its place. Again we have to cleanup our mess. One of the big problems we have is at some time Yellowstone will blow its top again, as the magma move closer to the surface, creating a nuk winter. After that we will not have to worry about the destruction of the ozone layer, global warming or pollution.

But with that we must understand we have never seen what is now happening before. CO2 has never lead to temperature change, but temperature change has led to increases in CO2. The models have to be made as we go along with current evidence! But again adding a small amount of CO2 to the atmosphere enlarges the earths sun collection causing warming; increase water in the atmosphere and it forms clouds cooling earth but sometimes causing flooding. Even natural events are warming earth and causing destruction. The sun has an increased magnetic field causing increases in earthquakes (more destruction), volcanoes (wow, great destruction), and sun spots. Lighting produces ozone near the surface (raising air pollution levels). The USA Mayor's have taken a stand and I believe are on the right track, we can have control and can have economic growth. The sun is available to produce energy, bring light to buildings and makes most of human’s fresh water. Composting is the answer to desertification. New dams are the answer to fresh water storage, energy and cooling earth by evaporation, we need many small ones all over (California needs 100 by 2012 and has not even started).

Remember knowledge is power and this information is very powerful. Humans have 50 trillion dollars worth of stuff that runs on cheep oil, natural gas, or coal. We need 20 Trillion Dollars worth of renewable energy over the next 10 years if we are to avoid a world wide depression (and right now ethanol does not count)!

That is why I founded CoolingEarth.org, a geoengineering web sight where you can learn more about earth, the atmosphere, and how to sustain life on earth’s surface.

  17. were all going to h**l because there  will be no ice!!

  18. i think global warming is happening, but i think that many political and other organizations have been misleading and scaring people into thinking that it is happening much faster than it is for money. i still think caring for the enviorment is good, and that the outcome (besides these misled believers) is good. america will be energy independent, cleaner air & water, and new studies to decrease the amount of energy used.

  19. well you sound like you have been hearing only one side..........ask Dr.Jello i care about pollution but until we know about wether or not it is man made then i really don't see the rush .
