yeah sexisms still a problem, but only in the workforce. Hey, atleast its no Pakistan lol. Racism= bad both white people and black have it but seriously, arnt we past the 1800s yet, i think we should be a bit more mature than that. Agism, sad, whats this country coming too.

As a female welder, I can say that sexism is still alive and well in our society. I can imagine that all minorities have similar experiences to what I have at work everyday.

I never considered myself racist, but my son (who is 20) said I should have a white sheet on my head because I am not enthusiastic about supporting the illegal immigrant population.   I have no problem with anyone who is willing to go the distance and do whatever is required to be here legally... go the distance and learn our language instead of demanding our schools cater to a foreign language.   Sexism...  is that still a problem in today's society?...  

Ageism..  it is very unfortunate and can be quite devastating for someone who is not to be able to get a job because they are considered too old.

I care alot about all of these, but especially racism.  I was raised in a predominantly white town and never associated with blacks because there were next to none.  My parents always told me that everyone is equal (all God's children) and they could rock a black grandbaby on their knee, just like a white one.  This has always stuck with me and I don't understand people who judge others by their color!  It makes me sick.

As for sexism, I love being a woman and don't mind being treated like one (to an extent).

I just turned 50 and because I don't look it, (or act it!!!)I haven't run into agism yet.  When I do, it will p**s me off, I'm sure.
