Fish Supper in Black and White

That's really fresh fish From the deepest ocean

Smells just like the beach Broken shells, seaweed, rocks

Waves breaking on the shore From the passing trawler

Leaving behind A trail of destruction

The last of the cod For your dinner.

  1. That's really fresh fish………....From the deepest ocean

Smells just like the beach…… Broken shells, seaweed, rocks

Waves breaking on the shore.. From the passing trawler

    Leaving behind………...…….…A trail of destruction

The last of the cod…………..…For your dinner.

Is that cod for the gulls or your plate? A fishy read, replete with remembered smells.  I like.  P.S.  I am sending you a bill for formatting services! lol

  2. this poem need editing

work hard for inclusion of a theme

  3. When I first read your poem, your images were not easily visualized, but I did like your content.

Wonderful formatting job by NEONMAN, that really brought your poem to life, imo. That structure was perfect to showcase your words.

Enjoyed it, although it seems to encourage guilt for eating fish. Why did the passing trawler leave a trail of destruction?? Did it have a oil leak, or were you referring to the loss of fish lives? Either way, I see your point.

    Nice work :)

  4. To post a Trigee you need to write the first line of the left-hand poem, use dots and then continue on the same line with the first line of the right-hand stanza. This is the only form I need to write first on paper. The dots are actually part of the Trigee and are published with dots in the books.

Try reposting it that way. It is too dificult to see the Trigee unless it is divided and it really is NOT a Trigee unless it is correctly set up.
