  1. That depends. If I'm trying to impress someone (read -young lady, guy thinking of buying my car, etc.) then yes I care quite a bit. As far as my sense of worth? Could care less.

  2. every individual is entitled with his own belief, better not bother to know about yourself from people who don't love you !

  3. more than I want to and less than I probably should

  4. Yes. I do. I feel the word  'care' is generally considered as a hostile word and that is why the normal egoistic response is to say that I donot care. This need not be really so.

In that sense I care  or give value to  what others think about me.  Constantly we all try to be good persons. It is not enough to feel good  by yourself but this feeling of 'good' is further strengthened if others also think good of us.   I would take it as a suggestion or an indication if others have to say something about what I do .

For example , I have some reasonable financial  resources. A few think that some of my remarks are 'arrogant' because i have some money. I feel bad about this judgement as I am not arrogant. But this input makes me aware of the fact that I have to be doubly cautious as not to  give that impression of being arrogant.

  5. What other people think of me is none of my business.

  6. yes i do

  8. I don't care what people think of me. True friends love you for who you are, not what they can mold you into.

  9. Not particularly. However, if people are telling me that I'm being mean to them, and everyone is telling me that, I WOULD look into it. Not too much, though. Be yourself.

  10. NO, I do not care of what other people think of me. The reason is because if I did, then I would try to be something I am not. I believe in being yourself, but at times know when to tone it down some.

  11. No.. what's the point? I'm me, and nobody can change that =)

  12. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't. And frankly I have little use for the human race, so that really sucks.

  13. I care about what other people think of me.

However, I think everyones answer changes on why they care.

My attitude is, you should only try to earn the respect of the people you personally respect, and follow the "golden rule" to everyone else.

  14. I care about what those I trust and respect think about me. Sometimes it can be interesting to get the perspective of someone who isn't close to me, but I wouldn't allow such a person's opinion too much authority. Otherwise, I don't care what people think; I like myself the way I am.
