  1. No, but I'm not rebellious either. I just learned that some people will like you and others won't. I guess that comes with age cause you can't be on top of fashion all your life or you'll miss out on life.

I think we all should consider what others think of our behavior but I don't think others should designate our behavior. We should know why we act the way we act and make sure we are acting the way we "choose" to act instead of reacting to everyone else.

  2. Yeah, I think everyone does. But everyone also has their own gamut of caring about what people think. I give the advice of do what you want and don't give a farse about what other people think because you don't need any retarded comments or random remarks about the way or who you are. No one needs that kind of garbage.

I care a little, but I've established myself to pretty much not care if someone comes along and decides to take a jab at me. If you don't like me, then it's that person's problem.

  3. I do care, but i've never had a problem.  Here in Southern California, things are pretty much relaxed. People do have the problem of looking for the bad, instead of the good..not all people, but alot of them!!  I try to see the good in all, i've been acussed of holding the world in a paper cup!! xoxoxo

  4. No.

  5. I DO CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF ME TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. I HAVE LIVED IN GEORGIA ALL OF MY LIFE, AND I HAVE BEEN RAISED TO BE RESPECTFUL TO MY ELDERS. I WANT PEOPLE TO THINK OF ME AS A SWEET, CARING, FUN PERSON. I AM 33 YEARS OLD, 5'4, AND I'M OVERWEIGHT. PEOPLE WOULD NEVER BELIEVE THAT I WEIGHT AS MUCH AS I DO, BECAUSE MY BODY IS IN FAIRLY GOOD SHAPE. HOWEVER, I DO WONDER IF PEOPLE CALL ME "FAT @$$" BEHIND MY BACK. SO I'VE BEEN TRYING TO LOOSE WEIGHT, NOT TO SATISFY PEOPLE BUT TO LOOK BETTER AND TO BE HEALTHIER. AS FAR AS THE WAY I DRESS, AS LONG AS I AM NEAT AND CLEAN, I REALLY DON'T WORRY TO MUCH ABOUT IT. I REFUSE TO SPEND ENORMOUS AMOUNTS OF MONEY ON DESIGNER CLOTHES, JUST TO SAY THAT I HAVE THEM. SINCE I AM A BIG GIRL, I SHOP MOSTLY AT STORES THAT CARRY LARGER SIZES (THE AVENUE, ASHLEY STEWART, ETC.). I HAVE A HUSBAND THAT LOVES ME AND SUPPORTS ME AND THAT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME. SO AS LONG AS HE LOVES ME AND MY PARENTS SUPPORT ME, I'M GOOD!

  6. People who deny that they do are lying to themselves and/or others. We are social beings and to survive, we need others. Others' opinions of us sometimes make a difference between failure and success, love and loneliness, happiness and misery.

There is no way to deny that what others think matters.

  7. yea and it is human nature.

according to the social comparison theory, we get our self esteem from how we think people see us.

also we all want to be loved and accepted

  8. i do care to an extent

    but i pretend i don't

because if i was to let it get to me

that'd just make me go insane and that's no way to live your life

in the end i just act and dress how ever i want

even if i do think people will judge me

    oh well

    they'll get over it

  9. theres always a point in a someones life (mostly teenage girls) who do actually care mostly bcuz it effects their social life.

  10. No, because I care about how I see myself and that's the most important thing.  There's some old saying that sums it up for me:  You can please some of the people some of the time, but, you can't please all the people all of the time.
