Do you charge your gas or pay for it?

Because I am thinking if you charge it and pay 19% interest, you are paying $5 a gallon anyway......

I've used a credit card for gasoline for years and haven't paid a single fee or any interest. It's safer and more convenient than carrying cash.

My first charge was for $0.79 per gallon. My latest charge was for $3.49. Amazing difference over a decade.

I have a BP credit card; when I use it I get 10% off the price at the pump. Since I pay off the balance each month, there's no interest. It works for me.

Only a fool pays 19% interest on a credit card.  

I buy just about everything on a credit card.  I pay the bill in full each and every month.  I never pay a penny of interest.  I also get vouchers back to be used on Amazon.com.

If you are paying 19% interest rate on a credit card, take out a pair of scissors and cut up the card into tiny pieces.  After that only pay in cash until you get your credit bills and spending under control.

pay for it then.  using a credit card can sometimes cost more because the gas company charges you a fee for using a credit card.

Pay for it outright! I don't have credit cards anymore and I have both Visa and MasterCard debit cards therefore I don't see the need
