  1. I do check but only on places where it has the best possible view of the bed and rest room.

If there is camera hidden somewhere, one tell tale sign would be that the device which house the hidden camera does not nblend in the room well. Example, if you notice that the colour of the smoke detector is new, then beware.

In the rest room, any mirror that is slightly tinted, beware. Knock the wall a little and hear the sound. Hollow? Beware.

  2. I don't cos I've got nothing interesting to show nor would anyone in their sane mind would want to watch me.

  3. 5 or 6 star hotel ? only small hotel may do that . how to check ? do you want to spend 200 + for the device ? or any cheap device to check this ? where to buy ?

  4. No because its illegal to put one in , if your in a reputable place you shouldn't have any worries.

  5. No-I don't.

  6. No i dont but i admit that i should...

  7. interesting question; most 5 or 4 star hotels wouldn't do it, its bad for their reputations; but its difficult to say for 3-star hotels. most hotel managers wouldn't do it, the people most likely to do it would be the hotel staff, whatever their reasons are. It really depends on which country you are in! because the rating of a hotel differs from country to country! for 3-star hotels its difficult to say! could be a nice room with 2 beds, a bathroom, a TV and a drawer or two, but there might be a hidden camera in one of the lamp fixtures or smoke detector or ceiling lights...

  8. Well in the United States, as far as I know it's illegal to put hidden cameras up without your consent; but in a foreign country I don't think those laws apply.

Your best bet would be to just ask the hotel manager, or course they can just lie, but for a secret to stay a secret, needs fewer people to know about it.

  9. I just wanted to add, that someone once told me that u can tell a mirror is a hidden device when you place the tip of your finger on it and there should be a small gap between your finger and it's reflection in the mirror, if there isn't one, it isnt a real mirror and a hidden cam could be behind it. That's all i know.

  10. No, i don't

  11. One-way mirrors are easy to spot if you know how. All you need is a flashlight.

Shine the flashlight at the mirror and move it closer and closer to the mirror until it is touching the mirror. If it is a one-way mirror, you will be able to see through the mirror, like a tinted window. A true mirror will just reflect the light; you will not be able to see through it. If you hold a flashlight right up against the mirror and the light shines inside, you have a one-way mirror. With a true mirror the light from the flashlight will be totally reflected, and you won’t be able to see through it at all, even with a flashlight. Using the same technique with a flashlight, you should be able to see a camera if there is one behind the one way mirror.

  12. Why . What are you doing to be so nervous

  13. LOL... if it's hidden well, you'll likely never find it.

Just don't do anything you wouldn't want anyone else to know about.   As the old saying goes, "If you don't want it in the newspaper, don't do it"
