I don't know if its habit, but I never check my meal after I get done going through drive through. Maybe I'm just in a rush, but I've never experienced a wrong order? How about you guys, and what restuarant?

  1. Yes I do..it is wrong about 90 percent of the time no matter which one you go thru.

  2. I use to go to a Burger King close to where I worked and I always had to check my drive through order because about 75% of the time it was wrong!  The scary part was I never ordered anything special; just the usual value meals.

  3. I'd say it's wrong one out of three visits....mostly McDonald's. But I have gotten in the habit of checking before I pull away from the window. Sometimes they say "goodbye!" and obviously expect me to just go...and I look up and say "please wait. I want to check that everything is here." They can't say no, so I check quickly, say "thank you" and drive off if all is well. Don't be afraid to check...it's so frustrating when things are wrong or missing.

  4. I always special and order and always check. 6/10 it's right (depending on the place I go to.) Some places ALWAYS get it wrong. I don't go to those anymore.

  5. I usually hand the bag over to one of my kids and ask if everything is in there.  I would say the order is wrong about once every twenty visits.  Most of the time it happens when my kid wants a plain burger and they put everything on it.  I visit all fast foods Burger King, McDonald's, Hardees, Wendy's.  We have a strip on the main highway about 10 minutes from our home that has all these restaurants lined up along with a few pizza places.

  6. They get it wrong about 20% of the time, but I have a 15% failure rate with delivery too.

As Leo Getz said in one of the "Lethal Weapon" movies, "They f*** you at the drive thru."  :-)

**So bad karma for answering this yesterday.  This morning my drive thru order got messed up completely.  :-)

  7. If I order something special, e.g., no mustard or extra onions, on average they get it wrong about half the time.  Very frustrating, especially when I forget to check!

  8. I always check my order!

  9. I always check because I ask them to hold the mayo and any sauces like catsup. they still get it wrong 25% of the time. If you order standard fare you are probably going to get what you asked for.
