I feel they are equal. Health is very important. Without good Health Care, work is sometimes impossible. Now, can we not say the same thing with education?

No, actually there are many jobs without a College degree. Kindergarden, Elementary, Junior High, and High

School will always be equally important. If you have a College education your choices of a better job are greater.

This said can education be greater??

Health is not a choice.

  1. Health is the most important. Then comes education and then a job.

But when was it decided that everybody has to go to College ?

I am so happy when a well trained Electrician, Painter, Plumber etc.

does the work I need to have done.

It is time we honor those again who make our lives more pleasant.

I thank everybody who worked on building my Home.

Let us support those who lend a real helping hand.

  2. I am in agreement with anyone   who feels that these are equally vital and should be the prime concern of all real civilisations.

  3. Health is most important, education can be dismissed. If you have health it is an undeniable fact of life, if it is lost, then few can recover. The loss of health makes everything else a distant third, so to speak.  Time and time again, we have seen in the U.S. that education doesn't matter in earning a living wage. Education can be discounted when one is qualified for the position even though their education is spot on. Early on Barack Obama's education is in Constitutional Law. He earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard. His education was dismissed and he was not qualified. He was running for the highest constitutional office in the land.  To many he was disqualified because of his experience, his more than suitable education was dismissed. The same could be occurring to Governor Palin.  However, if Governor Palin has her health, she can do something about this denial of her earned academic pedigree, she can make a convincing case to some people. If she did not have her health, she could make no case whatsoever.  I would agree with you if life were fair, but life is not fair, therefore, health and education do not stand on equal footing. It is for this reason, health is more important than education, if the opportunity presents itself, ask a paraplegic, very few can do anything with their education, because they have no health that adds up to anything more than being paralyzed.

  4. I totally agree with you!

  5. Both are of importance, however, Health Care has the slight edge.
