  4. 1st class facilities and many 3rd world mentality. here is a good example.

many bangala, indonesia and etc go dip their leg at the pool infront of KLCC, people spitting and dont care about public property..

    LOL...agree with Anderson & Garumi..

    especially Pudu Raya terminal...

    it totally scares me...

    never again im going there.

anderson : im also indonesian leh..

havent tried dipping my legs into the pool in front of KLCC yet..

  10. I am from Sarawak, so I am not sure about KL. If you want me to pick, I will pick Singapore and Tokyo. These is the world class city at Asia.

  11. No..not really..I've been to other cities and countries which are way more cleaner and more beautiful than KL..take for an example, Cyberjaya is anything but cyber or even "jaya" and so is Putrajaya..which is definitely not a place which you can consider that "berjaya"

  12. how do i say about this ... i agree with Anderson ... and just to add about locals in KL ... why laa ... whyyyy ... i'm so afraid to allow my sis or parent to use public transportation ... people are so rude ... no respect to adult and failed to act as gentlemen ... and the bus station in Pudu KL or Hentian Duta ... huh so kampung la

  13. Well just compare it to other world-class cities.  Infrastructure, technology, tourism, urban planning, airport planning, puts it all right there with new york, singapore, and beijing. if you want to talk about the rest of the country, then definitely still a developing country. but the capital city has done very well for itself, though much can still be improved, such as standardizing public cleanliness as well as dealing with the overpopulation (but then again, land shortage is a problem with many major cities).

in response to the earlier post, i wouldnt say third world mentality. but definitely developing country mentality. maybe 3rd world mentality in poorer parts of the country. dipping your feet in front of klcc is a minor 'offense' if an offense at all.  And if you're only referring to bangladeshi and indonesian, you cannot judge a country by how the immigrants behave (though on a separate note, you can judge a country by how they TREAT their immigrants, which countries like malaysia and france and the united states need to improve).  if you want to talk about the spitting and lack of concern for public property, i mean some people spit and publicly urinate in new york.

  14. 6.5 out of 10 in terms of world class-ness

  15. we stop building our sewerage drainage system after the British left and that was before the population increase

which make it impossible next to expensive to achieved now......lol
