  1. He could probably sneak on in, but no.

  2. Sure along with the likes of Mo Vaughn, Bobby Bonilla, and Greg Vaughn.  Your crazy, the stats are ok, but he played in an era where 500 home runs doesn't mean anything.  You my friend need to think before asking a stupid question.

  3. No stats really pop out, and he only averages 1 hit per game lifetime.  At this rate he would need about 3 season to get to 3000, but I don't think he will keep this up since he is turning 41 in September.

  4. no, but i have always been a fan of his.

a good player and a great guy in the locker room.

  5. Great guy, very classy player, and a good example for young baseball players. Unfortunately, he put up some decent numbers, but not HOF numbers. He was never clutch. He helped teams, but he wasn't the type of player that put fear in the hearts of pitchers.

  6. Sorry - it's the Hall of Fame - not the Hall of Players who were slightly above average and had one good World Series. (And I don't really think he was "amazing" in 2001. Sorry, but a .259 average doesn't really impress me all that much.)

  7. In HOF?   I think you will be the only one thinking that.

  8. no.  the first half of his career was just ok.  came into his own in arizona.  became a great doubles hitter.  one huge year in '01.  and winning the world series doesnt make up for lack of stats.  and he's never been a good outfielder.

  9. maybe the steroids hall of fame

  10. No.

He doesn't have the Hall of Fame credentials in my books.

  11. NO

    5 all star appearances

    0 mvp's (third in voting in 2001)

57 HR's in 01, never more than 31 in other years (and averaged high 20's for the rest of his career)

don't want to assume steroids, but 01 seems like a HUGE aberration, in the same year that Bonds hit 73.

  12. I don't think so, he had one "break out year", other than that he has been a good player but not Hall of Fame worthy

  13. No

  14. no...the stats are not good enough

  15. No, I can't say I do. Only 2001, did he have a really good year, other than that, mediocre at best!!

  16. i don't think he will make it
