my sister gave up fast food for lent, and she thinks kfc is ok to eat because its not fast food, i think it is fast food hellp me!

kfc is yes a fast food place. im not to sure about boston market, but to me subway is not. i gave up the same thing but i stuck with subway and just gave up the mre fatty things.

KFC is fast food, but I don't consider Boston Market or Subway to be fast food - neither of those two have a drive-thru - lol.

It is a fast food chain.......Yes it is fast-food.......However you may be able to find some healthy selections.  But if you think KFC's chicken is great because it is a good source of protein then you are searching too far for excuses to indulge.  With that said.......it seems like you are trying to prove her wrong (which sounds like she is) but you shouldn't judge......another good lent idea.......

Yes it is fast food --- it is available on the heating racks when you go in.  NOT fast food means going to a restaurant where something is prepared AFTER you order it.

No, I don't really consider it fast food.  KFC is the closest, but I don't really like their chicken anyway.  Boston Market is a restaurant and Subways is just sandwiches...you could make the same thing at home, really.

As long as she stays away from BK, Ronald's and Wendy's, she should do okay.  Taco Bell, White Castle, or anyplace where your order is really in less than five minutes.

This adds pizza to her menu, too, by they way, since it's not fast food.

And remember, no meat on Fridays!

EDIT:  OMG!  KFC, Subways and Boston Market have drive thrus now?!  Not in our town!  Takes at least fifteen minutes to get a meal at these places, too!

The word "fast" is an adjective... meaning "quick".  Fast food was meant to be a "convenience".  I would guess your sister gave up this type of food because she is giving up a  "convenience".  Eating foods that YOU have to prepare is a "sacrifice of convenience".  My understanding would be... the sacrifice of convenience is what she intended to give up for lent.  That is a significant thing to give up...and makes it a very worthy choice.  Good for her!

kfc is fast food. Boston market even though i owned a large sub shop for 20 years i only ate Boston market twice, kfc not that often its better than most chicken places   but no question about the garbage hut subway the worst of all sandwich shops.
