I consider my ex-wife as my best friend.  Our relationship is platonic, but we confide most everything under the sun.  We are better best friends now than when we were married.  One of those miraculous happenings in life.  Having a lover separate from your ex-wife as your best friend is somewhat problematical.

yes, becoz friendship is a relationship in which u can share all the things with your friend. and i sincerely believe in a person sharing all the things with his or her lover. so you can undoubtedly consider your lover as your best frend but only if u trust and respect your person.
