  1. Yes.  If only because I am a radical and do not respect and barely understand the concept of conformity.

I believe I have Asperger's Syndrome and one of their defining attributes is nonconformity.  Please consider my related question:

  2. Yes when I was younger, I use to do things my way, and not conform with rules, I could say I'v done what I wanted to do,to a limit.... Now I'm still a little bit now but now I'm  begining to go by the rules.... If you know what I mean

    Bye

  3. no facebook, no myspace, conservative, not emo, not punk, don't curse, old-fashioned, no clubbing, no scenes, no partying, not preppy, not hip hop..............h**l yea I consider myself a nonconformist.

people may be taken a back at first but then they commend me for not fitting in into any group and not following trends. My friends call me martha stewart. Some people tell me that I am born in the wrong era.

Heck I refused to get a cell phone until a couple of months ago for safety.

  4. depends on how specific you want to be.

i'm a nonconformist in the sense that i don't choose what i do because of what i think others want me to do, rather i try to listen to myself when making decisions.  i don't specifically non-conform, because that's just conforming, but i make an effort to be true to myself.

that being said, i don't think i'm really true to myself, because i still conform to thoughts and behaviors and sometimes i don't even realize i'm doing it.  i don't think anyone can truly say they're a nonconformist, because by subscribing to that method of thinking they are automatically conforming in some sense.

so i'm nothing, really.  i'm  not anything and i don't know what to do about it.  conformist?  non-conformist?  i really have no idea.

  5. I am, obviously. Unfortunately, it's not very much appreciated here to be unique.

  6. No , but I enjoy living outside the box, there is so much more room for thought.

  7. I'm the only guy at my college who's into punk rock. Most people think they have to stop dressing punk rock before they go to college and become a conformist. But I dont care. I dont think the way somone dresses has anything to do with intelligence and the ability to study. Yea I totally consider myself a non conformist.

  8. I did when I was younger but as I aged I began to see a lot of sense in conformity.  It doesn't mean I've conformed to everything (I still have some spice left in me) but I'm a pretty happy camper as a primarily conforming type of person.

  9. I don't accept or reject anything either because it is old or new.

Quite a few of my folks consider me a nonconformist.

I don't call myself anything. I just want to be sensible human being.

  10. Yes very much so :-)

    i hate conforming

    I like being unique !
