  1. I am an intellectual because of my 131 IQ and my articulate grammer.

  2. I consider myself intelligent but prefer to act stupid on the internet.  I am only serious when I know the other users are being serious.  My strong point is obscure information.

  3. Uh, yuh, dude! I is an intoolekulel cause I'm, like, so smart. Kant ya tell, dude?

  4. IQ tests are stupid. Mensa is the feminine form of stupid in Spanish. No I'm not an intellectual. Being an intellectual requires being a smug ***.

  5. I think everyone's an intellectual in their own way, not just because they can spell properly or use big words and actually understand them. I'd like to think I'm an art intellectual like others might be science or auto-intellectuals. I don't think you need to be a know-it all to have intellect. You have book-smart people who don't have any street sense and vica versa. So it depends...(in my opinion...)

  6. Yes. I'm going to go with high intelligence being the reason...

For the person before me, it is spelled grammar. I'm guessing that 131 IQ came from an online test; Which by all accounts would make my IQ 182. Online IQ tests are not too reliable.

  7. i do but do you consider yourself intellectual and why are you asking  not all people are intellectual and I'm not really that intellectual but i do now because i know what the word mean lol

  8. Perhaps you should ask that question to the people of Central and Eastern Europe.   Each country believes itself to be intellectually superior to its neighbor.

You can start with the Hungarians, followed by the Czechs.

  9. The greater part of me, yes, the analytic proclivity, the curiosity in causality, the forming of conclusions based on research.

  10. No.  I am not an intellectual and I think most of the people here are not also.

  11. Despite my high IQ and doctorate degree, I do not think of myself as an intellectual. When I hear the word 'intellectual' I tend to think of someone who is very smart, educated, analytical and logical, but rather detached from the heart, feelings  and everyday life. I think of someone who is 'in their head' too much.

Often things which make logical sense, aren't really good for people and society as a whole.
