im proud to say that i live it my way! but at the same time and because i love ppl around me i take some dicisions that i may not approve 100%..so in both cases its me who control my life

a blend of both. if you lean too strong either way, you will either be a hermit/social outcast or a follower/part of the herd.

you have to have balance in the way you live in your life, just like in everything else.

if you are a main stream kind of guy or if you work as an employee (you work under someone)

or you are a loner watching the world as you pass it and you work to live

social experiences influence us always.. but it is always WE to decide, how to interact with the situation, how to learn from the experience, and then how to APPLY that experience in a new situation..

Society is an "influence" for me..

I believe everyone controls his / her life on their own..

in some people, society influences much in their decisions,

while the others mold that influence, and create their own decisions..

In terms of influence,

I would say, dependence of my decisions varies always..

it is not always the society, and not always me only to control my DECISIONS..

the situation decides for me.. always..

Hence, both control my decisions,

yet again, control over life is of mine..

Society will control your life unless you make an effort to control it yourself.  

If you live your life without questioning it, you will most likely mold to fit society's views, however hedonistic or disrespectful they may be, without even realizing it.  In that case, society is running your life.  If you step back and question which of society's beliefs and values fit with your personal beliefs and values, and make the decision to live only in accordance with those that -you- feel are acceptable, you are in control of your own life.

No, I control my own life.  I keep my life under control, and know what I have to do to keep my life together.

I think a little of both.. I control what I do to a certain extent but societal norms control what I do also.. There are things I would love to do but society says no way and it would get me arrested so in a way, I would say both.

God is the main source of my "destiny", then I make decisions (good and bad ones (free will)) that may or may not put a damper on that "destiny" for only a short time.  Some of those decisions may or may not be decided after putting society into the equation.
