  1. u sure can if u wish to

    but just don't make it too full of flowers - a glass or acrylic vase with just a few flowers in it right in the middle will make it look good

  2. h**l no lol.Thet can pretend with the fake plus fake last a long time.

  3. Sometimes...although you can diversify your center pieces;

    Once, I used gold fish (in a bowl of course) as a center piece...and at the end of the dinner, each guest go to walk away with one gold fish :-)

    Or you can create a mini-Japanese zen garden (sandbox with little pebbles/rocks)....

  4. No, I decorate it with food, unless my guests are flowerarians.

    Btw in Lebanon we have a juice made of rose petals (sharab el ward) and we have rose jam and we also have a kind of sweet (well only rifaii makes it) which is made of sesam and peanuts (semsmiyeh) to which are added rose petals.

  5. i love fresh flowers on the dinning table and often have them here when guests are coming. At the moment i am making the most of the jasmine that is in flower. It fills the room with it's beautiful fragrance...mwah!

  6. No, I find a plate of tabbouli a much more useful centre piece.

  7. Yes.  It is not necessary, but polite as it is basically telling your guests that they are important, and that you went out of your way to decorate for them.  It also adds a fresh fragrance to the air.

    Just be sure that none of your guests are allergic to the any of the flowers in the selected arrangement!  ;-)
