Large majorities around the world believe that human activity causes global warming and that strong action must be taken, sooner rather than later, in developing as well as developed countries, according to a BBC World Service poll of 22,000 people in 21 countries. An average of eight in ten (79%) say that “human activity, including industry and transportation, is a significant cause of climate change.” Nine out of ten say that action is necessary to address global warming. A substantial majority (65%) choose the strongest position, saying that “it is necessary to take major steps starting very soon.” The countries with the largest majorities favoring taking major steps on climate change are in Europe: Spain (91%), Italy (86%), and France (85%). Also overwhelmingly in favor of significant action are some Latin American countries: Mexico (83%), Chile (78%), and Brazil (76%).

So as a denier dont you think that you could be wrong and that the majority is correct?

  1. Wow a poll. Those are reliable. And a poll of 22,000 people in the whole world no less.  What is the world's population right now anyway? I don't believe 17,600 people would be considered a "majority".

I'm pretty sure that some tribes of people in Africa, with no access to TV, internet, loud mouth, money hungry former ex US vice president's, weren't surveyed. I think they might ask "what is global warming?".

Sorry I don't follow random people, polled in who knows what type of survey, to tell me what I believe in, especially scientifically.

  2. Al Gore is the messiah for the climate change fanatics and his error-strewn polemic An Inconvenient Truth , has been dispatched to every British school on orders of the Blair government, so that kids may be forcefully brainwashed into accepting that man-made global warming is as much a reality as the surveillance cameras, metal detectors and biometric scanning for lunches that they have to endure as part of their "education."

Gore's 20 room private mansion uses 20 times the national U.S. average of gas and electricity , as Gore lavishes himself in his heated swimming pool while poor people and the middle class await the onslaught of carbon taxes to eviscerate any disposable income they have left.

Gore is behind the spectacle of the Live-8 style Live Earth concerts that will take place in numerous cities around the world on July 7 to raise awareness about climate change. The performers who will be showcased at these concerts include people like Madonna, who owns at least 6 gas-guzzling cars including a Mercedes Maybach, two Range Rovers, Audi A8s and a Mini Cooper S.

  3. You have convinced me.  Let us follow France's lead and start building nuclear power stations instead of having coal and oil fired plants belching pollution into the atmosphere.  Oddly enough it is those left leaning French that have more nuke plants than any other country, having started with an American design from Westinghouse.  We on the other hand, have not built a nuke plant in thirty years thanks to those same wackos that are claiming that the one degree rise in the last 100 years is caused by man. In the seventies these same people claimed we had a frozen future due to global cooling.
