these rankings mean very little. I prefer to not take notice of them. Russia are most definitely better than England though, what are you on?

Based over recent form (or lack of) England's position is accurate. By not qualifying and playing in Euro 2008 England were unable to pick up points to keep our ranking higher than it is. Competitive fixtures are rated higher than friendlies.

Internationally England are a third world country when it comes to football.A foreign manager and a squad with no depth.1966 and all that.

Because they have no balls anymore. They won 1966 against Germany in worldcup at home with the help of a Goal that didn't even cross the line.

That cursed England forever. While Germany won 3 euro cups and 2 world cups and many finals appearances, England hasn't won ****.

yea I completely disagree with England's position in the Fifa world rankings.  England shouldn't even be in the top 20

also the reason why Turkey and Russia are ahead is because they were Euro08 semifinalists.  How far did England get in the Euro? oh yea they didn't qualify
