Do you dislike any particular MLB umpire(s)? Why?

There is only 1 that I absoutely hate and he's not even a MLB umpire, he's a minor league umpire that has been in the bigs filling in for vacationing umpires and that's Rob Drake.  He just seems to be an ego maniac, like he's better then the game.  I've heard a lot of players and coaches complain about this guy (Lou Pinella went as far as appealing to have him removed).  He was the umpire that blew the home run call the Kevin Youkalis hit, he called it a ground rule double.  He tossed Lou Pinella and Ozzie Guillen inthe same week, and he also tossed Pinella again when he was umping home and Pinella was talking to the first base umpire.  Pinella said absolutely nothing to him and had his back to him when Drake tossed him.

As for the rest of the umpires, they're all out there doing the best job they can and surprisingly are very accurate with the calls they make without the aid of instant replay.  I'm amazed at how many times a guy looks safe to me but when I see the replay the ump was dead on with his call.

h**l yes. Angel Hernandez is a jerk who has some kind of vendetta with the Cardinals. And along with C.B. Bucknor, he's one of the worst umpires in the league.

The men in blue all look same to me.

They are not there to be noticed as an individual.

They are there to try to keep  the game of baseball at a professional and high level of conduct and to enforce playing field rules.

You're not supposed to know umpires by name.  If you do, they're doing something wrong.  Unless it's the ump who was attacked by a fan, but I've even forgotten his name.
