Do you do anything for the betterment of your world or community?

Question

I just feel like most Americans are lazy. I hear everyone complain about everything but most people don't vote, call their officials to let them know their opinion, don't help their neighbors, don't recycle, don't care. I think it is so scary that my fellow Americans are who they are. Don't you?...don't get mad and all patriotic on me please. Patriotism isn't just going rah rah rah over your country.

I stay home so I'm not driving about polluting the atmosphere and driving up the price of fuel; I don't eat beans so I don't f**t  and pollute the atmosphere and finally, I'm doing everything I can to leave the country so there will be more room for the rest of you and you will all be able to breathe easier.

I'm taking the exam for the Foreign Service Officer position with the State Department.  I would be working at American embassies around the world.  I hope in my small role, that I can do something to make a difference.

Yes, I went to the Revolution March om July 12th . It was organized by the Campaign for Liberty. I also discuss politics with anyone who will listen.

As  85 year old people we are over the contributing to the betterment of society, the world or politics. Too many issues  must have politically correct answers. The man steals public funds and the idiots in government say he is entitled to his pension. The person should be incarcerated after he paid back all he stole and put the b------ on bread and water for his term. Our Senator gets two loans at favorable interest rates and he heads the Senate  Banking Committee.Says he knew nothing about favorable rates.Who signed the mortgage papers ? The Holy Ghost ? Our boys are not involved in politics. One has liberal leanings which was his trait in college. Thank God he had a high draft number. Another is a successful lawyer who has done much pro bono work in the home loan and commercial loan field, much of it for those who do not understand the ramifications of a signature. A third is a stock broker and large trader in Maryland, is devoting much time to bringing up and teaching 3 children the rights and wrongs in life. Their mother is very committed to Annapolis youth. Too many Americans do not appreciate what opportunities are present for them to succeed.I am not sure where you get the idea that most Americans are lazy. If that is your crowd, find better friends . And don't think just because you vote, that you have fulfilled your obligations. We help our people, we recycle religiously,  we donate blood   we have served with our party, we have registered voters, and made noise at town meetings, long before it was vogue. Hope you will do the same. Forget that Patriotic stuff. The patriots died in Europe in WWII, In Irag and Afganistan  in this decade , In Veit Nam and Cambodia because of stupid generals and a war weary president. And while you are at is please define " Patriotism". I know the dictionary definition.

to make sure that the highway workers in this state actually work i throw all of my trash out along the highway.   it keeps the tax payers from paying and not getting anything for their money.    it gives me a good feeling to know that i am giving some government worker a job.    mr  doodles
