Do you do "the wave" on the highway when someone lets you in?

i never get waves (maybe 1x a year)....but when i go out of state, i see it more often. people here never wave! and they dont let you in, either :(

    I also flash to let big trucks in or out of traffic on the highway.

  3. Sure, only I do it Hawaiian style - shaka.  It's the polite thing to do.

  4. yes i always do it out of courtesy if nothing else,its only right to be courteous to other drivers,its part of driving these days,but i have always done it,i guess its a habit,good one to have though,good luck.

  5. yes.  Acknowledging an act of kindness by another driver is the proper thing to do.  We have far too many a**es on the highway who wont let you in, nor wave a "thank you"

  6. Yes, it's just a nice, polite thing to do.

    I kind of "expect" a wave when I let someone else in too.  Most people seem to do it.
