Baby it's cold inside, Heat Up Saint Louis.

Do you donate during the cold months?

If you do, do you donate once, a couple times, or every time you are at the grocery store?

Do you donate $5, $3, or more?

If you don't live in Saint Louis, are there similar programs in your city? During the cold winter months, St. Louis citizens can go to the grocery store and peel off a $5 or $3 "coupon" to add to their grocery bill that goes toward the working poor and the elderly who are raising children. The money helps them heat their homes during the winter months. We also have a similar program to help them cool their homes during summer months.

  1. no program like that here.  We actually know  our neighbours, and cut firewood for those in need, or get oil or LP gas for those that heat with those alternate fuels.  A group of us have done this for years.  We have a half dozen widows and a couple retired couples that need and GET help from us.

  2. Here in Charleston, SC you can add extra dollars when you pay your electric and gas bill, the additional funds go to thelp those who cannot afford their heating bill.
