If K-Swiss, Nike, or Adidas offered a line of 'sport' apparel for dogs, would you buy it? Which is your preferred Sportswear for your dog?

  1. Yes I do dress my dog for both fashion and and when it's cold out my dogs don't hate it and there is nothing wrong with it. My dogs have variety of clothing from tank tops to sweaters and rain coats. The clothing they have is from Walmart Target petedge and I see spot. nothing expensive. My Chihuahua dose have a Dallas Cowboy jersey that my brother bought because my brother love the cowboys. There clothing is very simple nothing fancy.

  2. No I don't dress my dog cause he doesn't need to be dressed cause hes a dog and I have better things to do with my time.

  3. My dogs don't need clothes, they came with all the fur they need.

  4. Yes I do...but only in the winter b/c my dog was born with almost no hair on his chest and he gets blisters from the cold. I love petco and petsmart clothes.

  5. I dress my dog in clothes.. he's hairless and needs to keep warm.

No I probably would not buy those for my dog.  He's not very sporty, and neither am I.  I buy clothes that I think are practical and also look good...  not based on a brand-name.

  6. It would depend actually.  If I take my dog to say sand dunes, then I want him to have paw-pad protectors, doggles, and some sort of a cooling vest if possible.  If they actually made these things as "sportswear" for dogs, then it would be pretty cool and I'd consider it.

There's a difference between dressing a dog up to "look good" and dressing a dog up for protection or function.

  7. Nope. Unless you count Bandanas as clothes. Sometimes I will put on simple Bandanas with my dogs names sewed on the bandanas onto my dogs. But, other then that, no, I do not.

If any of those companies made "dog sports apparel" I still wouldn't dress my dogs up. I think its totaly abusing the purpose of dogs. ]

  8. Nope, I would not dress my dogs. They come with fur coats and that is fine.  I would put a coat on in extreme cold but that is about it.

  9. My dog has very a short coat and HATES the cold and wind so I put a jacket on him in the winter when he has to go out for a walk in the cold otherwise he will not go out.  I and my dog are not fashion statements but I wear Nike all the time so yes I would purchase a Nike jacket for my dog but wouldn't pay over $20 for it.

  10. No, I never put clothes on my pomeranian. She has plenty of fur as is lol

Unless she wants a walk and it's raining outside, I have this little raincoat for her so she won't freeze in the rain and cold lol

  11. no i don't.  That is silly.  The only reason an animal would need clothing is if they are old or ill then yes they need help keeping there body temp up.  And an old sweater or shirt works great.

  12. Eww!! NO way!! why should a dog go through so much torture?!?!

(but i do dress her up for a few hours on holloween as a cowboy)

  13. No I don't dress my dogs up as it's not necessary to keep them warm. However, if I had a breed that required warm clothing, I might buy it if it was good quality and reasonably priced.

  14. when i was young we dressed the dog in my baby clothes for my doll and she loved it now days i wouldn't buy them anyhow i would knit them and have for my doggie, Tsunami

  15. Whenever we take our dog to the snow, he wears nothing. His coat is thick enough. But it you have a skimpy dog like a chihuaua or a chinese crested, then you should get him a sweater.

  16. No. I do dress my dogs but not for fashion reasons, I do it to my dogs from the cold. It doesn't matter what brand they are I just want to insure my dog's comfort and health.

  17. No never.  Well once, as a bumble bee for Halloween

  18. ahaha no way! but sadly if ralph lauren's dog clothes were more affordable i would buy it for my dog!

  19. Well I do dress my dogs but it's not for fashion. And I only have my dogs dressed up in cold winter. In other seasons, I don't think there's any need for that. They have fur coats. That's enough.

  20. I dress my dog in sweaters and jackets to keep her warm.  It's not for fashion.

Yes, I might buy a Nike jacket for my dog, if it fit her, was attractive, was functional, and was good quality.
