Do you drive a Rear wheel drive in the snow?

How does it do? What tires do you use. I'll be driving a RWD this winter.

  1. you could if you wanted, just be careful seeing how they like to oversteer A LOT in slippery conditions.  tires i'd recommend are bridgestone blizzaks, great winter tires.  also toss a sandbag or two in the back to add a little more weight for added traction.  oh and running your tires SLIGHTLY (not a lot) less inflated will help out also (it offers a wider contact patch than a fully inflated tire)


  2. That depends.  If it has positraction, you are asking for trouble (even with winter tires).  If they don't then you should have to worry that much.

    The positraction really works negatively in turn (on wet and snowy weather).  

    Just drive slow and sensibly in rain or snow.
