  1. No offence but visiting a hospital just to eat food sounds pretty ghetto to me. Personally I have done that before after my mom got out of the hospital. If you're the kind of person who doesn't give a hoot about what other people think, then go for it!

  2. i can say the only time i ate at a hospital was when i was visiting my grandma in the hospital and it had a domino's pizza..so i went in between visiting hours..otherwise I wouldn't eat at a hospital cafeteria and even now I wouldn't eat at one even if i was already there for something because I hate hospitals and I'm one of those people that's afraid of germs

  3. Yep, and you're right; and its inexpensive too.

  4. No I dont because my hopital is a death hospital meaning alot of people die there so if they let people die there then I guess they wouldent care much about the food

  5. I do-in fact, I currently work in a hospital cafeteria.

Hospital food is actually safer than a restaurant's. Why? Think of all the patients with compromised immune systems. Hospitals need to be VERY careful when it comes to food safety.

Also, the hospital in which I work is one of a very few which offers "At Your Request" to patients-it works just like room service. One can choose what they want from a regular restaurant-style menu and order their meal anytime the kitchen is open. Breakfast, lunch or dinner is served anytime the kitchen is open, also. The food is amazingly good-and the "room service" is quite a hit with the patients.

As far as food in the cafeterias, the same standards apply, as many of the patients come to the cafeterias. The food is wholesome, and quite reasonably priced. We have many customers who come in from neighboring businesses just for the food, especially at lunch.
