Do you enjoy affection without s*x?

Question

We know that some people think s*x is the be all and end all, but I know others who really like a bit of gentle TLC. So, question is, do you enjoy sitting around being caressed, cuddled, nuzzled, etc if there is no serious snogging, groping, shagging at the end of it?

I love just cuddling but i would have a hard time enjoying it if I thought it was going "somewhere" everytime. it wouldn't be so meaningful then.

Definitely. That shows that the person really loves you and doesn't just want your body. No doubt I love the s*x! But there is a lot more to my relationship with my wife than just that.

I love the affectionate moments me and my husband share. This elevates the more intimate times we have together. I love to cuddle with my husband. We hold hands while watching tv. He strokes my back affectionately even when we just sit and talk. s*x without affection is shallow and meaningless. Affection with s*x is a plus. Affection alone is an expression of love and I love it that my husband is just as affectionate as I am, and I am a very affectionate person..

I certainly do - it depends on my mood.  Sometimes, I want the s*x, but other times I think the cuddling and affection can actually be better.  It depends what type of mood my husband and myself are in.

Most definitely!  s*x is great, but sometimes you just need that small bit of contact and attention.  I love just cuddling up on the couch with my husband and watching tv.  We're both very busy people and sometimes are just too plain tired for s*x.  It's nice to get a little cuddled or caress.  Its something that I only get from him and it strenghtens our bond.  Its like a little silent I love you when he gets into bed late at night or when he leaves early in the morning.
