I live next door to Guatemalan, Morrocco, Sudanese, Chinese and Senegalese immigrants couldn't be more diverse that that. I sometimes watch them communicating with each other in "English" sans the grammar and correct pronunciation. Here's one funny incident -one of them needed help in the supermarket but didn't knew "trolley" (seems they don't have trolleys and supermarkets in that country). OMG, it was an almighty fuss and commotion -hard to describe but really amusing.

  1. Diversity is nothing more than a concept born from the political correctness movement. In reality people seek out others most like themselves. There is nothing wrong with that. It goes to our roots as human beings. We are drawn to people that share our ideas, culture and interests.

Diversity should happen naturally and fails miserably when it is forced.

America has had diversity before the declaration of Independence. We have been the most diverse nation for a long time. In the past many cultures have combined to form one nation.

I'm not please with the diversity we are seeing today because it has crossed the line. Today's brand of diversity is about one culture expecting the nation to change for them instead of visa versa.

  2. No, I don't like the way it's heading.

  3. I enjoy seeing the diversity as long as they re LEGAL, if they are not I will enjoy seeing the diverse why they will be rounded up and shipped back out of MY COUNTRY

  4. Yes.  I love seeing people wearing different kinds of clothes from different cultures.  They are so beautiful and colorful!  And I especially love food and restaurants from different cultures.  :)

  5. Yes, and I enjoy living in a fairly diverse area (compared to most of the USA).  I like seeing churches, temples, and mosques.  I like hearing different languages (most of them I don't understand!), and I like seeing different ethnic restaurants and such pop up in towns.
