Do you enjoy your birthday?

Question

Not that I hate mine but I don't like it when people make such a fuss over it. Personally I'd prefer to not even celebrate it at all. Maybe if anything, a quick happy birthday and that's it. I don't know why I'm like this but, I am.

All I want for my birthday is to be happy all day. lol. Usually this involves me and my friends getting drunk and doing something stupid. I'm usually stressed out the other 364 days of the year so I try to make it a point that i will do whatever it takes to not give a d**n on my birthday.

I don't say anything about my birthday, I don't like it when people make a fuss about it either. I just prefer a "happy birthday," and whatever they give me. The most embarrassing part was lat year when I had to swipe my I.D. card in school when I was checking in early morning, I knew it was coming and I was waiting for the embarrassment. As soon as I swiped it the computer started singing out loud "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" All the girls on the line just looked at me and grinned and I walked away.

Other then that, since my birthday is in October, I enjoy it very much. My friends and family always plan to go to those haunted houses attractions. Its a tradition.

Oh man, LOL. This brings back memories of a chat I was having with quite a few g*y guys a while ago about the 30th birthday thing. hahaha to them, the moment they hit thirty is comparable to DEATH.

honestly i love my birthday. i dont throw big parties, but i get together with close friends (sometimes family) and have a good time. maybe its just cuz i cant wait to turn 21. eh. (im 18 atm)

yeah. sometime si though a huge party sometimes just go out to dinner with my closest friends. but i really get annoyed when they text and text and text or cal and say happy birthday...lol. thats the only bad thing about knowing too many people..lol but i love them all. theyre awesome people.

My boyfriends like that, he nearly died when I bought him gifts and all. Personally I love it I mean people making all that fuss over you. And then of course the special private present from the boyfriend;)

Honestly, I loved it when I was little, but now it's like I hate when people are like "OMG IT'S YOUR BERFDAAYY ZOMGG!" "yeah okay today's my birthday...so?"

Yeah. I used to be really into my birthday.

I had huge parties and stuff.

But now, I'm very low-key. Dinner with a few friends. Nothing big. I don't really feel like making a big deal out of it. Just another day, really.

I don't like being the center of attention, so it bothers me when people make a big deal out of my birthday.  A simple "happy birthday" is enough.  It makes me uncomfortable to have to stand around and have people sing to me, etc.

all holidays, christmas, thanksgiving, my bday are forgotten about. my holiday is g*y pride and the month of june.
