  1. Meh. I am moderately concerned about the planet. I still do a few things to cut down on wasting resources, but my behaviors tend to be environmentally friendly anyway.

  2. I work for a company that insulates homes, through grant money from the state and federal dept. of energy, we are also looking to receive grant money to install wind generators for people as well. We are also looking into kits that electrify water and inject it into a motor that will increase gas millage.

  3. Why don't you inform us first of all the things you are doing to save the planet? I am sure you are dying to tell us.

  4. Why is this question in the Etiquette section and not the Environment section?

And, BTW- I DO care about the planet. I recycle, drive 55 mph, drive a full-efficient car, contribute to Nature Conservancy, the National Park Association and other charities designed to preserve the earth. In addition, we have the thermostat at 62 in the winter and 72 in summer.

    What about you?

  5. Yeah I care. It was installed in me at an early age to recycle and not litter. I don't drive, I take a bus or walk to get where I need to go. I try to do what I can to make the planet a better place.

  6. As the late George Carlin phrased it, "The planet is fine. This planet has been through a lot worse than us...meteors, solar flares, earthquakes...When it's time for the cycle to begin again, the planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas. The planet isn't going anywhere...WE ARE. Pack your ****, folks...we're going away..."

I'm inclined to agree with him.
