  1. Never, My answer never gets picked up as the best answer but all the same I am not discouraged I still try to answer as much questions as I can

  2. No

I give my best honest answer and don't care how many thumbs up or down I get.

I do have bone to pick for those who get my answers deleted.

  3. Never.  I post my honest opinion on a given subject matter regardless of whether I find myself in agreement with the asker or not.  It is not as if I can actually "cash in" the points accumulated for something of value.  Yet, I do find it amusing whenever my post gets chosen as "Best Answer" simply as an excuse to insult me and/or my opinion even further in a rather juvenile manner.

  4. WILL U PICK ME AS BEST ANSWER PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ..... ((((jokin))) who does this kinda stuff are really stupid but on top of it they will get negative marking ,......i never do that ..But today i did that !!!!  : ))

  5. yes i love to brown nose,i need the points you see.

  6. Definitely not. I believe most people want an honest answer.I also a very opinionated person and I tell it like it is or how I believe it is.

  7. I tried it and it works.  Most people don't really have a question, they are seeking validation of their opinion.  If you validate that opinion you will get chosen as best answer.  The whole system is a total joke.

Look at closed questions and do a little research and you will see that most of the answers which were chosen are completely wrong.  They pleased the asker.

  8. Gosh, what a good question. You know I never really thought anyone would ask a question like this, but I'm glad you did because, frankly, it's something we all need to think about. But of course, I've come to expect intelligent, thought-provoking questions like these from you, Winston. (May I call you Winston? Or Mr. Adams if you prefer?) You know, like your question about if McCain's POW experience would have any influence on how he governs- DEFINITELY one of the better questions I've read on here lately. Oh, and you know your answer about why people like Obama so much? Very erudite, knowledgeable response. Thanks for speaking so eloquently on behalf of Obama supporters everywhere (of which I am one, make no mistake about it).

  9. Hello,

No, I've not been accused of that and lost one account before when I spoke my mind. I don't worry about 40 or 50% best answers; after all you can't live on complements. I do notice that some people do ignore logical answers and well researched points of view even backed by good citations.

I haven't seen posts by Caicos Turkey.

LOL, Andy G deserves the points in this one! I love originality and surprises.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  10. never

but may I say how handsome and intelligent you are?

  11. i agree with you Alex v...some people have stupid q's...and i have fun with that :-)

  12. Of course not. I give my honest opinion if asked for backed up with my scientific background when I can.

  13. Never. I try to help, I try to give my valid opinion. Unfortunately, that means I don't get as many best answers as I'd like. And there's also one other thing. Take languages, for example... Someone says he/she needs some sentencee translated to, say, French, which is a language I really master, or Portuguese, which is my mother tongue. I give them my best answer, the best that I can and I know it's correct and then someone comes along with a totally incorrect answer and adds "I'm French" or something along those lines and then gets best answer. That kinda makes me sad.

EDIT: Having said that, I believe with all my heart that whoever you think is a liar must be a liar because you are so perfect in your assumptions! I wish I could be just like you (not that I could ever get even close) sometime... And I'm being totally honest here, I really think of you as *something bigger* and as The Who have sang, we've got to have faith in something bigger. I really, really have faith in you! *kneels*

  14. No. I tell them the truth even if they don't like it.

My answers get picked less, but I have more fun insulting stupid people.

  15. No. I have particular respect for people who disagree with my point of view (if it does boil down to a matter of personal opinion) and yet have the objectivity to give me a best answer on the strength of what I have to say. I might add that this doesn't happen often!
