When I worked in my mother in laws resturant I dreamed about cooking all the time. And now that I don't cook for a living I dream about cooking right before a local soup cook off we have every year. But even still I do sometimes dream about cooking. I love food and would be happy if I could just spend day after day in the kitchen cooking.

I have dreams on foods that I can't quite perfect.  I dream of watching people make the dish and trying it myself.

The lastest one I had... I want to make this fish pie, I  know how to, but I can never get the dough for frying the way it is supposed to be. I had a whole night of dreams about different recipes and techniques for doing it. I visited other people's kitchens, made several batches myself and even tried making the fillingdifferentt.

When I awoke I was so frustrated that I still couldn't make them the way I know they are supposed to be..   But last Saturday.... I did try making them again.. using one of the recipes I had learned in my dream.. Maybe they did come out better?
