Do you ever dream you are flying?

I have a reaccuring dream that i am flying everywhere. I can feel the breeze,I look down and see places that i don't recognize, It's really weird and no I'm not on Drugs!!!

Such dreams are very common and usually deal with a desire for freedom and a lack of responsibility. Other times they seem to represent the mind simply rejoicing.

I have those a lot, it means you are close to astral projection. If you begin to notice the state you recede into as you fall alseep you may be able to have a conscious out of body experience. It can be very freeing and mind expanding.

Those are my favorite kinds of dreams. That's when I become lucid, too. It's wonderful, and nothing is wrong with you - you are just human ;)

Happens all the time.

My default theory is that I am riding along with a bird. I also have dreams wherein I am running around on all fours and doing canine like things: my default theory on this is that I am riding along with a dog or fox or coyote or some such.

BTW, this is the actual basis of werewolfery and similar things. Werebirdery I guess you'd call it, specifically for the flying stuff.

Pay attention, eventually it will happen in a place you are familiar with and you can check things out.

Ahh, I love the flying dream. Especially since I wish I could fly, even pilot a plane.

In mine though, I always need to "take off" by running, or in some sort of slingshot. It's kindof funny if you think about it.

Anyway, just make sure to watch out for power lines, and if you land, make sure you can get up again!

Yes. Lots of people have dreams like that. They are awesome. My favorite dreams ever.

Usually I can kind of "will" myself to turn different directions. Often I am sitting in a lawn chair that levitates with me.

I did have a flying dream lately, but not as often as when I was a kid. In my latest dream I was kind of afraid that other people would notice my amazing flying ability so I had to do it only when they weren't looking.

I get that all the time too! do you know what your element is? fire, earth, water, and air. look it up. the majority of my dreams are of me flying with things that dont fly in real life. Especially otters.lol. My element is air, so i think that might have a part in it. otherwise its just your brain organizing different thoughts and sights. sweet dreams!

Yes I have dreams of flying it's because your astral self is loose and wonders freely, you can actually do it everytime go to places you've never been before. no.  i sometimes dream myself falling off and cliff or something.  and when i hit the ground i wake up.  it feels so weird!  lol ^^
