I like venison.  It tastes just like beef except it's much leaner.  That's about it.  I'll pass on the wild boar!!!

I had a piece of venison once (that's deer meat if you don't know).  It was very gamy, which means very chewy and tough.  I've never had  it since or wanted to either.   The meat was also very dark and unappealing.  On a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being awesome in taste,  venison would score a 3 at best.

Stick with the common, civilized foods like chicken, beef, fish, and pork.  They taste great and are extremely popular in our society for a reason.

deer, elk, bear, rabbit, squirrel, geese, duck, alligator, snake, boar...yeah there all good. Some are better as jerky but I love to hunt then eat my prey. Maybe its the hunting that makes the food taste good to me. I don't think that a persons food choices should be limited to chicken, steak, and pork. Live a little!!

Deer is good but Elk is the BEST. Bear is OK to make chili or jerky out of. Antelope is a little tough and depending on what they feed on can taste sagey or more.
