The ones where you get something for free and don't have to buy anything else to get it.

  1. Not at all.  They generally serve as some sort of promotion for the restaurant which will inevitably increase its business.  One thing is important, though - if it is a full service establishment, it is imperative to tip generously - based on what your total WOULD HAVE BEEN had a coupon/discount  not been applied.  That totally shows respect/appreciation to the server and also encourages good service from that waiter in the future....plus, its just plain WRONG to get something free & still be cheap.

  2. NO the restaurants do that so you will come in and if you like it (the coupon item) then they believe you might come back with more people

  3. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as you tip the wait staff--and tip them well, since you're not paying for the meal. Nobody likes a stingy coupon user (I speak from experience).

  4. no chance it is intended that you use them

  5. No. Free food!

  6. no way - they put those coupons out for us to use.  however i do feel like a cheap *** when i use them but i get over it when the foood comes.

  7. No, because next week they are going to go regular price which is way over what they should be charging.  It all works out in their favor. And in the meantime, they may have collected a few more regular customers. ♥

  8. No, not in the least.  The restaurant uses coupons as a means of expanding their patrons and using them promotes their business.
