has your whole life been real ,but then you family thinks of you as something else that you never were?

More like, I WISH I was adopted. That way, I am not forced to have any kind of connection with them whatsoever. May sound harsh, but trust me, you don't know my family (and you don't want to, either).

You mean feel like everyone around you is a robot?  Or that you're the center of your very own "Truman Show"?  Of course.  My siblings would tease me when we were growing up often saying I was the milkman's child lol.  I've also worked in places that seemed to solely rely on me.  So much that I wasn't allowed a vacation.  Oddly enough it was a church and they always saw me as preacher material... but I'm far from it.  I never quite understood why they saw me as that.  You're not alone though, many people share the same feelings, and I'm not just saying that because i'm an alien ;)
