Do you ever feel miffed when the answer you wanted to choose as best answer, has been deleted by the answerer?

I never delete my answers, Yahoo does it for me

its usually a case of it having been deleted by y/a due to being reported for a violation of some sort.

Absolutely. It gets on my nerves as its happened to me quite a lot.

I would notice and email the answerer to thank them

Never happened to me, but I have had really good answers to questions that got deleted.  That is disappointing.

I would imagine they are deleted by Yahoo, rather than the answerer? No?
