  1. Yeah but the fast ones are just as bad!  I was at Sainsbury's tonight trying to pack my groceries that were almost falling off the end of the checkout because the cashier was putting them through so bl**dy fast!

  2. wow, umm who do you think you are..what is your job may I ask? and why do you believe your so perfect at it?

Get some patients for people who may not be able to excell to a higer job position.

  3. No!.  We all have to learn our jobs.  Sometimes it takes longer than others.

You don't say if this person was a relatively new starter, probably because there is no way that you could know that.

Don't judge people on first appearance, it makes only you look a fool!

  4. I get annoyed when assistants are being deliberatly slow. For example they're talking to there co-assistants and not paying you much attention and causing huge queues!

  5. Believe it or not some companies are actually deducting the mistakes the employees make from there paychecks.I would rather somone be safe than in a  hurry and then go home with no milk for the baby its not easy out there anymore and some folks are really mean about that so just hope she gets better and faster next time.Be friendly and thank them they dont have it easy at all.

  6. I do sometimes, though I can be patient and understanding.  I used to work checkout at a clothing store and it never failed that we'd be short 1-2 employees a night for checkout.. I get more fed-up with the managers and high-ups that could run an extra register or assist with bagging than the person trying to do the checking out!  Or call for someone from another dept to help the person ringing... So, don't be upset with the cashier be MORE upset with the management!

    Good luck

  7. maybe she was high

  8. I work in asda but on george so I wouldn't know about the pace of chekouts. I would hate to work on checkouts having to scan loads of shopping. I know how stressful it is when I have to pack clothes into about 4 bags! The customers seem to moan at checkouts if you're too slow but if you speed up they moan at you because they cant pack their bags quick enough. I know how annoying it is though when you're stuck in a queue and they seem to be taking forever to serve someone.
