A car is so much quieter when it's idling versus when it's at highway speed, but it still surprises me when I start it in the morning.

  2. all the time.  my poor daughter must think I'm deaf

  3. No, because FM radio died somewhere around 1981.

  4. yes that's why i started turning it off before i get out, lol

  5. Waaayyy too often. You'd think after I'd almost deafened myself a few times, I'd learn to turn it down.

  6. when i had a car,yes,id blow my ear drums as soon as i started the car,turn it down and quickly look about to see if anyone else heard it! cheers :)
