No, I don't get that feeling - - there is a seemingly endless list of people who have made that claim throughout history and they have been consistently wrong.

No I do not think we will be rendered lifeless by a handful of rich (people!)  BUT - I do think we will all be rendered "penniless" by environmentalists who want humans to revert back in time and ignore the advantages of a our society!

Like using your computer?  Well it uses energy, it has plastic in it, trucks using fossil fuel helped deliver it, etc.  

See a doctor if you are having severe depression over environmental fears!  

What you are seeing on television and read in newspapers about GLOBAL WARMING on a daily basis is a replacement FEAR for the previous FEAR that the Cold War War generated!  When the Cold War ended (Reagan and Star Wars did it!) news media were at a loss for a nightly and daily news leader - the FEAR of Global Warming became the new danger to push!  Danger on television sells!

The Earth has withstood tens of thousands of "Climate Change" cycles (Global Warming) for millions and millions of years - Climate Change - Global Warming is a NORMAL cycle that the earth goes through every now and then!

In our past during the Middle Ages Earth was even warmer than it is now and we survived!  Did you know that in America there are more trees now than 500 years ago??  One reason is because human beings put out forest fires and plant trees!     Antarctica has been having bits and pieces fall off for 10,000 years - nothing new there - center mass is gaining ice.  Antarctica is larger than the entire US, larger than Europe - of course the outer edges will break off because they are warmer.

Al Gore is one of the SUPER RICH who is making millions and millions of dollars off of Global Warming - he made so much money selling his "gas" we ought to call him Al w***e!

I'm voting for Obama, who will raise taxes on the rich  and cut taxes for the rest of us more than McCain will (before you deny this, look it up).

Not really.  At worst, another great extinction happens and something new evolves.  At best, we lose a little of the current coastlines and open up new territories for farming and living. The Earth won't be rendered completely lifeless for another 5 billion years or so.

ugh, it angers me to no end.  earth's doom is inevitable but no one does anything to stop it.  people have given the "richers" far too much control.  if someone does figure out how to save earth, they should b put on a pedestal and given the nobel peace prize. whenever people realize that the "richers" only have their power because we gave it to them and stand together to take that control back, then something will b done.... but it will likely b too late....

Yep, i get that feeling alot. For now, there's nothing to do, they are too well protected by law, police, etc (bought with their money).
