Let me first say, I will always support my best friend. But he continues to make commitments that I know he can, but will not carry out. This includes loans and relationships.

Quick example:

Some of these girls he becomes 'involved' with are great people. I can see myself and my girlfriend becoming friends with them, very easily.

We encourage him to find who he wants/ loves. He'll date them for a few months, and then he finds one imperfection and gives up.

I know I can't decide or change how he feels, but I stress out because I don't think he understands that no one is perfect.

I have and always will tell him what I really think, yet it seems he quickly forgets.

I'm just curious if anyone else on YA! has a similar situation.

I'm not tired of being his friend, I'm just tired of trying to help him with little results.

  2. Yes sometimes I have been tired of being a bet friend, when I can see that my best friend is wrong but she isnt listening to me, when I see that someone is trying to harm my best friend but cant help her because she trusts her enemy more than me, especially when I was myself in great trouble and need support from them.

  3. That is why you are called a 'best friend'.........hope he will get it one day ...........
